All work will be performed by licensed and qualified technicians in a professional manner, adhering to industry standards and local building codes. The specific scope of work for your project will be detailed in your service agreement or estimate. Any changes or additions to the scope must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

2. Service Estimates and Pricing

We provide estimates for our services before work begins. These estimates are based on our initial assessment of the issue. While we strive for accuracy, unforeseen complications may arise once work is underway. Should additional labor or parts be required, we will inform you of the revised costs and seek your approval before proceeding. All final charges will be itemized on your invoice.

3. Payment Policy

Payment is due in full upon completion of the service, unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept payment via cash, major credit cards, and other pre-approved payment methods.

For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences. Failure to make timely payment may result in late fees and interest charges as permitted by law. In the event of non-payment, MAP Plumbing and Rooter reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies to collect the outstanding balance.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your service appointment, we request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations with 24+ hours’ notice: No cancellation fee will be charged.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: A service call fee may be applied to cover administrative and dispatch costs.
• Emergency Services: Once a technician has been dispatched for an emergency call, the service cannot be canceled without incurring a dispatch fee.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure our technicians can work safely and efficiently, you agree to:

• Provide clear and safe access to the work area.
• Remove any personal property or obstacles that may impede our work.
• Ensure that pets are secured away from the work area.
• Inform our technicians of any known pre-existing conditions or potential hazards related to your plumbing system.
• Be available or have an authorized adult representative (18 years or older) present at the property while services are being performed.

6. Limited Warranty

MAP Plumbing and Rooter stands behind the quality of our workmanship and the materials we use. We offer a limited warranty on parts and labor for services we perform. The specific terms and duration of the warranty will be provided on your service invoice and vary depending on the nature of the repair or installation.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or customer modification.
• Pre-existing conditions not addressed by our service.
• Failures resulting from issues outside the scope of our performed work (e.g., clogs caused by improper disposal of items).
• Normal wear and tear.

To make a warranty claim, please contact us with your original invoice. We will schedule a visit to assess the issue.

7. Limitation of Liability

MAP Plumbing and Rooter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services, including but not limited to water damage, property loss, or loss of use, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by our staff. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
